Cornish Crown: a beer is born

At the beginning of 2011, Josh Dunkley had a vision of creating an exciting new contemporary – yet traditional – real ale.

Having already launched The Crown as one of Penzance’s most popular free houses with his wife Michelle, Josh decided to make his dream a reality. The time for a lovingly handcrafted fresh beer had arrived and thus Cornish Crown was born.

After months of detailed preparation, labouring, equipment installation and steam cleaning, a pilot brew of Cornish Crown is underway. Watch this website for developments as Cornwall’s newest member of the real ale club begins to flow.
